Product description

Year:2020 Width:12.5 Height:20.5 Number of pages:192 In his preface to hüseyin rahmi gürpınar hazan bülbül's play, he complains about the results he encountered in the adaptation of his first important work, the playhouse, which made him famous as a novelist, and while criticizing the theatrical understanding of the period, he states that he wrote hazan bülbül as a play to be read like a novel rather than to be put on stage. The play, which showcases intertwined relationships in the mansion life decor of old istanbul, is based on a seventy-year-old man and his young wife. Refi efendi, who married a young lady named şahende hanım, who looks exactly like his lover he couldn't meet in his youth, hopes to be happy in the autumn of his life, but events take an unexpected turn with the participation of the public, his son-in-law, and the young bride's ex-boyfriend.
