Türkiye İş Bankası Kültür Yayınları Hayatım Bir Taşralının Hikayesi - Anton Çehov - Modern Klasikler

Product description

"my story ""my life"" by chekov tells the story of a young man who chooses to blend into the working class from his noble class and accustomed to his usual occupations."

rejecting the “privileges of capital and education”, misail poloznev decides to earn his living by physical labor.

his “revolutionary” movement is met with response by all segments of society.

even the worker in the lowest position feels threatened by this daring move that shakes the established order. After misail got married and settled in a village together, masha, who came from the upper class, is also connecting with a stance that is far from social responsibility and otherworldliness, to briefly brighten her life with ideas and fashion thinking currents. In my author's life, i intertwine the conflict in the main character's marriage with social tensions. In this work, which carries traces of his own life and childhood spent in taganrog, chekhov directed perhaps the harshest criticism of the decadence and hypocrisy of all classes of russian society.
