Türkiye İş Bankası Kültür Yayınları Gizli Bahçe - Modern Klasikler Dizisi

Product description

The misselthweite manor, located in one of the vast lands of england, hosts a story with a theme of change, salvation, and purification, with its locked room, the sound of unrequited cries heard at night, and its gardens surrounded by walls. Frances hodgson burnett's the secret garden takes the traditional image of an orphan child, as depicted during the victorian era, to another point. Mary lennox, who is not a munis, shy and sinic character like oliver twist, jane eyre or heidi, is spoiled, selfish and sometimes violent.

the journey of recognizing oneself and detaching from the effects of growing up in a colonial culture begins with the opening of a garden gate whose key is buried in the ground.

The secret of colin's getting rid of the henna that surrounds him, who has a childhood as loveless as mary herself, is hidden behind the same door. The secret garden, which has hosted countless children and adults since 1911, has been featured in a magazine primarily aimed at adults, although it is now included in the canon of children's literature. In addition to the criticisms directed by the author towards britain's colonial policy, methods of child upbringing of the period and defined gender roles, the holistic medicine-friendly approach still remains relevant.
