Product description

William shakespeare (1564-1616): the legendary writer whose plays and poems express human situations with the power to influence the whole world for 400 years and continues to affect its audience. The recently accepted double treason or troublesome lovers, attributed to shakespeare, was first performed in 1727 by lewis theobald and published in 1728. The play is the second lost text of the history of cardenio, which shakespeare wrote with john fletcher and was performed in 1613. The major part is signed by shakespeare, and the final act is by fletcher. Recent research has shown that theobald's contribution to the game was quite minimal. The plot of the play, which can be considered a tragicomedy, is based on cervantes' don quixote, like cardenio. Double treason or troubled lovers takes its place in hasan ali yücel's shakespeare compendium of the classics series, marking the 400th anniversary of the great author's death.
