Türkiye İş Bankası Kültür Yayınları Ceza Kolonisinde ve Diğer Öyküler - Modern Klasikler Dizisi

Product description

The book you have in your hand consists of kafka's stories published in his health. The author avoided publishing his works other than short texts, and even asked his close friend max brod to burn everything he wrote shortly before his death. However, brod was aware of his vast genius. He did not fulfill kafka's will and ensured that his collective works reached us today by spreading them after his death. Kafka's stories take place in a realm where anxiety and shame of unknown origin dominate, and every discarded name encounters obstacles. Issues such as freedom, crime, responsibility

the mechanisms of power that try to oppress the individual and the individual's resistance against authority have always kept his mind occupied. In addition to all these universal matters, kafka has liberated the mystery tales where humor and repentance are not missing, from all forms and reconciliations of literary tradition, almost turning it inside out. The author's deep thoughts on human condition, art, artist and life itself have transformed into multi-layered stories that take on new meanings with each reading.
