Product description

In his work, "the land of white lily," which was met with great interest in young turkey as well as in the balkans during its publication period, grigori petrov tells the story of the development of a tiny country that has not had a national identity for many years, struggling with obsessions, social inequality, poverty, and all kinds of difficulties, with great admiration and love. In the guidance of a handful of bright people, people from all walks of life, intellectuals, workers, peasants, artists, craftsmen, educators, with little effort, take care of their small countries, nations. Grigori petrov himself saw the fruits of his labor, and he emphasizes the value of unity and togetherness, and the importance of national consciousness in nearly every page of his work, all presented with a captivating, almost mythical style. This original work, dedicated to the bulgarian intellectuals by petrov and designed as a guide for them, was first translated into turkish in 1928 from bulgarian. Since then, it has been printed many times, many times re-translated, and it has become a guide for the teachers and intellectuals of young turkey, from harp schools to village schools. Today, finland boasts a literacy rate of up to 100%, and its education system serves as a model for other nations, contributing to the well-being of its citizens. the story of finland's founding offers a wealth of lessons and inspiration that can still be drawn from its legacy in the land of white lily. promotional text
