Product description

The story of ''the god of flies'' is an adventure tale originally written for children, describing the adventures of children who fell on a deserted island, which can be considered a contemporary adaptation of r. m. ballantyne's coral island. Even golding, with his characteristic biting humor, gives the names ralph and jack, which he took from the children in coral island, to the two main characters of the god of flies, as if he wants to reinforce this reader's assumption.

In coral island, ballantyne tells the story of how three young englishmen, who took refuge on a deserted island in the pacific ocean after their ships sank, with a rather emotional and somewhat naive optimism, re-established a small, quite successful example of the great britain civilization. In golding's lord of the flies, there is also a coral island and english children. But these children, who are between the ages of six and twelve, fell into this coral island when the plane they were riding to be taken to a safe place was attacked during the future atomic war. And what happens in this coral island is nothing like what happens in ballantyne's novel. The uninhabited island we see in the god of flies is also one of the heavens of the earth. Children also say that this island is very similar to the coral island they read about.

however, as we never expected it in the beginning, the children of the atomic age will turn this beautiful island into a hell in every aspect.
