Dursun ege gecmen's work, which was valued for the third place in the 2018 tudem literature awards, vur patlasın çal oynasın orkestrası, is an oral novel with a moving fiction that carries the stories of the growth and peace with themselves of children who have been alienated for various reasons and excluded by their surroundings. This thought-provoking book, addressing the ripple effects of peer bullying, doesn't overlook pondering concepts like being the aggressor or the victim, giving up or persevering, and good versus evil. Shahap's school life is quite painful because of his name, which is constantly ridiculed by his peers. As if the storms torn in the spirit of evolving from childhood to early youth were not enough, it is unbearable to be called a constant “bruise”. Fortunately, the friendship she forms with i̇pek, who has just joined the class, soon changes her perspective on life

sadness is replaced by joy, and disappointment is replaced by hope. While fighting in the world of bullies, shahap and i̇pek, who were eliminated in the orchestra selection, have to make a choice. They will either be dragged into a corner and surrender to their fate, or they will work hard to realize their dreams. If they don't take them to the orchestra, they will build their own orchestra... this naive book, which reminds us that some wounds that heal into the depths of our soul can only be healed through love and compassion, emphasizes the importance of always looking forward to fight against difficulties. "vur patlasın çal oynasın orkestrası," a heartwarming story of hope for shahap, i̇pek, and all children, who, despite the obstacles they face, hold tightly to their dreams and find solace in the unifying power of music!
