Product description

Whether it's coffee cups with funny sayings on them, or a variety of different types of insect fossils, all collectors are a bit crazy about whatever they collect. Collectors who build a whole world for themselves from the things they collect never know happiness. Their worlds are always a little short. And perhaps the worst, the world of others can always be better than their own... when randolph, the little collector, is unjustly fired from his job, his family falls into financial difficulties. The family, which seeks to take the remedy to the third floor of their house to tenants, is soon in agreement with an eccentric tenant. The tenant, mr. karp, a small-time man with a small funny mustache who wears old-fashioned clothes, quietly moves into his new house with three or five belongings, as well as an “everlasting” collection of about three hundred pieces. "what are the ""everlasting"" things accumulated by mr. karp, who stands out with his mysterious personality?" Memory spoons collected from different countries? Or the weird musical instruments that you play by blowing into your nose or touching with your foot? Perhaps the reduced heads? Many valuable things in the world, maybe even the most valuable things, can be intemporal. What about mr. karp's collection? little randolph is about to discover both the truth about mr. karp's hidden collection and the secret of life. Of course, if he can manage to break through the fog screen that hides behind what would make mr. karp the largest collector of the northeast. This unique story by award-winning author cary fagan, which extends from the third floor of a modest family house to the historical period lived by napoleon bonaparte, gives its readers an unforgettable life lesson. Enriched with the characteristic drawings of our world-famous illustrator selçuk demirel, mr. karp, who melts in a hat, deserves to take a place in the corner of every age's library and especially collectors' libraries with its text far from didacticism and its clear style like water.
