Tudem Yayınları My Thinking Game

Product description

One remembers most what they want to forget. In his novel, thinking(me) game, which was deemed worthy of the first prize of the tudem literature awards, sevtap ayhan takes readers to the world of fabula, who is trying to assemble an old puzzle hidden in his memories. A book that carries a growth story where sorrow walks hand in hand with joy, rejection with acceptance, onto its pages. Important questioning about what life brings and takes away. Reminding us that the power to awaken the happiness within us sometimes goes through making peace with sadness, the author makes us reflect on ways to repair heartbreaks. “why do we always think of the outgoing ones and not the remaining ones? "fabula, who reacts to life, tries to get rid of the thoughts that arise in her mind with the ""don't think about anything"" game, but the naughty thought particles insist on not letting her through." "there is no intention for fabula to make room for anyone in her small world filled with broken belongings, a garden adorned with colorful flowers, books waiting to be read, and her ""time machine"" skateboard." . . Until a funny little gentleman in clothes goes after a mischievous crow, falls from a century-old tree and only appears in front of him. Heros, the hero of another unfinished story, is a familiar stranger to fabula. Will this strange stranger, grown up ahead of time, be able to show the traces of the past to fabula, a prisoner of undeniable facts? The thinking game tells the sad but hopeful story of a child who tries to ease his pain by choosing to forget what he has lost. Sevtap ayhan demonstrates the “healing” power of loving and remembering those who left in subtle lines forever.
