summary: animals in need are now in safe hands! The "animal protectors" series, added to antonia michaelis' "little stars - first reading library" collection, brings together children and their adorable (and sometimes quite large and important!) Builds solid bridges among friends

creates awareness to offer animals a more free and livable world. The series, which emphasizes the added values of social togetherness and teamwork brought by the sense of belonging to being a member of a club, encourages children to work and succeed for a common goal. From snails to mammoths, and even dung beetles, animal protectors extend a helping hand to many different kinds of creatures, big and small. they serve as an example for young readers to gain a sense of responsibility and grow up to become beneficial members of society. Duru, cem, and ali have a problem: they're looking for the coolest club around. "fortunately, one day duru comes up with a brilliant idea and thus the ""animal protectors club"" is born to save cute, big and important animals." The first cases were a tiny little hedgehog who had been in a traffic accident! But of course, the club they set up has no end of troubles.

the school buildings are accidentally stamping mice, the pool they went to swim is cut from ladybugs red! But the worst is: what if they can't find an animal to protect? What if they try to protect what is not supposed to be protected? I wonder if some animals might not really need the help? Still, their troubles sort themselves out in the end – thanks to a three-legged, yellow, and frankly, rather ugly dog! "the hedgehog incident and the dog incident, classified as ""reading level 3"" with their stories of 3300 words each, take students aged 7 and over on a fun and educational reading adventure in the world of animals." "the ""puzzle land"" section at the end of the books offers the opportunity for little ones who have just started reading fluently to better understand and reinforce what they read through games."
