Especially in cold weather, ermenek, working in the field of ties, gardens and fields, was the main source of energy for the local population. Ermenek halva, which was consumed by the local people with baselic or phyllo bread, was one of the indispensable foods of the tables, as it had an intense and aromatic taste. This beneficial nutrient, which has been consumed in every season over the years, is now being consumed as the traditional taste of ermenek. The halva making continues to be supported as a local profession of the region. . . The taste of taurus, on the tables with toros halva: the molasses made from grapes grown spontaneously in an untouched nature was processed using traditional methods and combined with tahini and chogeh. . . The hardworking, resilient, and talented people of armenia, extending from the highlands of the taurus to the plateau of stone, continue to preserve their traditions today. The most important of these traditions is the production of armenian halva, which is made using molasses produced from grapes grown in the natural environment of the stony plateau at an altitude of 1600 meters. Considering the geographical features of ermenek, the region exhibits a dual climate characteristic as it is located at the transition point between inner anatolia and the mediterranean region. High plateaus have a black climate, mountainous tracts-mediterranean, on the plains in the valley of the river gusu... the lush nature is alive with rains that fall in all seasons, every color of nature. With its clean air, ermenek, carrying the glory of the taurus, is a living history. . .
