Interference is much less affected by harmful signals such as electromagnetic noise than cat 6 cable can provide higher efficiency up to 250mhz. in addition, in order for data transmission to be at a certain level of quality, other network elements to be installed or in the existing system must also have the cat6 standard.

what is the difference between cat 5 and cat 6? There is no protection against interference outside cat 5, but cat 6 also has a separator and aluminum foil to prevent the cables inside from tangling with each other. Additionally, cat6's are 23 awg, cat5's are 24 awg.

cat5e cable runs 100 mhz, cat6 cable runs 250 mhz. As the awg number increases, the cable section decreases. for example, 24 awg corresponds to a 0.50 mm cable section. 23 awg corresponds to a 0.57 mm cable section. So 23 awg is thicker than 24 awg. The thickness of the cable also increases the speed in the same proportion.
