Tiyo Yayınları Safahat İkinci Kitap , Süleymaniye Kürsüsünde

Product description

The second book of safahat of our poet of the independence hymn, mehmet akif &quot

In süleymaniye kürsüsünde &quot

It was written in the way it was written, that is, in turkish script. We do this because we know that the future of turkish poetry is the same as the future of the turkish nation and turkisheli. Just as the independence hymn was immediately shelved after the battle of sakarya square, mehmet akif was also sidelined in turkish literature as a poet due to the reforms following the declaration of the republic. "mehmet akif was not considered a ""poet"", in fact, nurullah ataç's understanding of poetry was tied to the condition of not accepting mehmet akif as a poet." Turgut uyar, who did not accept that he was on a common ground with ataç, acted by conceding that akif was not a poet. Nazim hikmet's mention of mehmet akif as a greater poet in his "human landscapes from my hometown" was censored. Today, books by nazım hikmet, especially, are still published in their censored form. What did mehmet akif write as poetry that he was subjected to this attitude? The answer to this can only be given at the level of reading mehmet akif's poem as it was written. With this aim, we will publish the safahat of the great turkish poet mehmet akif in seven books in a series.
