Hello, we do not recommend washing in the dishwasher. To maintain the thermos's insulation performance and outer coating, hand washing with warm water and soap is best. The high temperature and detergents in the dishwasher can damage the vacuum structure and shorten the product's lifespan.

Hi, yes this Stainless King thermos is designed to keep your food on hot summer days. For a period of 5 hours, your food will stay well warm thanks to the vacuum insulation technology of the thermos. However, in the summer heat, to maximize its warming performance, I recommend preheating the thermos with hot water before adding your food. This way your food will be better preserved in the 5 hour time frame.
