What does it do?

ordinary salicylic acid 2% waterless solution is a waterless product formulated to exfoliate skin and help unclog pores. Direct acids, especially alpha hydroxy acids (ahas) and beta hydroxy acids (bhas), are famous for their ability to promote the natural shedding of dead skin. While ahas aim to stimulate superficial exfoliation, salicylic acid (sa), a lipophilic bha, is particularly effective in targeting oil in the pores that can lead to congestion. Regular salicylic acid 2% waterless solution delivers salicylic acid in a squalane base formulated to reduce skin irritation concerns that may be associated with using sa. Note: ordinary salicylic acid 2% anhydrous solution is not a direct substitute for salicylic acid 2% solution.

apply in the morning and evening. For general use, apply a small spot to the target area or apply a small amount to the face. Do not use on sensitive, peeling or damaged skin. Avoid the eye area and eye contact. It is recommended to conduct a patch test before use: apply the product to a small area once a day for three days to test whether you are sensitive to this product. If you experience irritation, hives, swelling of the eyes and mouth, blisters, or difficulty breathing, rinse, discontinue use. Keep out of reach of children. Sunburn warning: this product contains a beta hydroxy acid (bha) that may increase your skin's sensitivity to the sun and, in particular, the chance of sunburn.
