Tekin Yayınevi What Is Political Philosophy?

Product description

What is the political philosophy? What is the scope of political philosophy? What is the relationship between philosophy or political philosophy and the problems of the world we live in? This book has come out thanks to those who worry about the above questions and our age politically.

In our days, when politics is devalued, philosophy is moving away from political responsibility and is drawn into the dim corridors of its academy, those who contributed to this book have critically examined both the fundamental problems of philosophy and the problems of our time from the perspective of political philosophy. The question of what is political philosophy cannot be considered separately from the question of what is philosophy.

a philosophy that is an activity in this regard, it cannot be spoken of a separate and independent political philosophy from the effort to grasp and produce.

this book is also an attempt to understand political action and its conditions in relation to philosophy, philosophy.

neither can political action be understood with a dusting of teleological commitment, nor can one succumb to a relativist mentality that says “anything is possible” and “anything is permissible”.

political philosophy is not just an exercise in abstraction over political things

on the contrary, it is a construction site for establishing or disrupting the logic of political things.
