summary: i don't know when i decided to keep a diary, i don't remember. "but in ankara, in the student dormitory where i stayed for a while, i wrote in a notebook, ""it's scary, i'm 22 years old!"" as i write now." That notebook is missing. The first daybook i have is from 1966, when i was in my senior year of college, filling its pages with my handwritten notes. From those days to today, i have kept updates, sometimes at short intervals, sometimes at long intervals (i haven't counted them), i think it's about twenty notebooks, and thus several thousand notebook pages. Why did i do this and why do i continue to do it? First of all, it must be to prevent forgetting what has been experienced... the second reason, when i look back, is the desire to see what extent i have been able to implement my designs and whether i have achieved my goals... i had not planned to publish these one day. But i see it as my duty to publish the notes i kept in maltepe and sağmalcılar prisons in the forty-first year of the peace association lawsuit, which i am one of the defendants... i don't know exactly whether the next one will come or should come to continue from the oldest ones. But while i'm randomly shuffling these notebooks, i realize that some sections may only concern me and the people mentioned there, but i feel that the emotions, observations, and thoughts in many other sections will not be acceptable if they remain unshared and disappear... let's see...
