Can it be heated on the stove top
Answer from Tchibo
Hello, French Press is not suitable for heating on the stove. The product is made of borosilicate glass and is designed for brewing coffee with hot water. The method of use is as follows: First, boil the hot water in a separate container, then add the ground coffee to the French Press and pour the hot water over it. After waiting about 4 minutes, you can press the piston slowly to make coffee. Heating directly on the stove may damage the product and is not recommended for safe use. Thank you for your interest and we wish you a good day.
