Şule Yayınları Cold Soup

Product description

After a long time, all the family members gathered together again.

it hasn't popped off on anyone.

it was hard to be first to speak.

we all waited for someone else to take this responsibility and for two years to reunite this family who had become strangers to each other.

i knew it was my task to start the conversation. The first sentence i was going to say was important as it would determine the course of the conversation that would take place between us.

i realized i had forgotten the soup as i struggled to select words to come out of my mouth. The stories in cold soup call to the world of characters who have fallen to the periphery of life due to disappointments, flaws, losses, and deficiencies. Even though they have been fooled by loneliness, life does not give up on them. Celebrations, meetings, get-togethers are always ripe for showdowns. They also entice the calls with their cold stories. The untapped pages of the past that cannot be pulled into the present are crumpled in the stories created by özge özen.
