Hello, thanks to the double-walled construction of this product, heat transfer from the outside is very limited. Stanley's vacuum insulation technology keeps the temperature inside while keeping the outer surface controlled. Of course, a very hot drink can warm up the outer wall in the first minutes, it is a normal situation, but the outer surface remains much cooler compared to standard non-thermos mugs. You can hold it securely. If you have any other question I am happy to help.

Hi, the lid of this camping cup is snap-on/top-lid design, it doesn't seal completely, it helps to prevent splashes.

Hello, yes this product has the ability to keep both hot and cold. With Stanley's vacuum insulation technology, it can keep your tea or coffee hot for about 1.5 hours and cold for 3 hours. It is a very suitable option for daily use and camping activities.
