Disappointment doesn't kill, my crab! Only, our determination to live is reduced by one piece

nothing else happens. Until we stand up again, until we start laughing like before, until we return to the hustle and bustle of daily tasks, we waste some time.

then it leaves like a scar.

over time the shell binds.

the hand always goes there

you scratch.

it's like a person would miss tooth with their tongue.

then you learn not to scratch or poke. Mino's black rose, a period novel. While telling a forbidden love story against the backdrop of the september 12th coup, it opens different windows to the stories of people affected by that turbulent period.

The suffering of young people who were executed, one of the leading names of the socialist revolution struggle, is recalled through various characters in the novel. In the sad story of münevver's forbidden love, who lives in a vineyard house in a town of izmir, far away from people, filling her life with painting, three women of a family come together. With his calm voice, hüsnü arkan adds the painful events of our recent history to the story of a group of people without making slogans or provoking, and his simple and convincing narrative reinforces the ownership of the novel.
