Product description

19. Kate chopin, a prominent representative of american literature of the century, is considered one of the first feminist writers coming from the south of the usa. 20. Kate chopin's stories, which pioneered feminist writers of the century, reflect on the other hand the sorrows and desires of women towards the change of their place in society and at home, and on the other hand, they provide clues on how the barriers of the traditional society, which includes slavery and various prejudices, can be changed with the opportunities brought by modern life. It is concentrated on the late nineteenth century women ' s struggle to create their identity within the southern society. This book also offers inspiring readings on how the stories we compiled by chopin can help people overcome the prejudices created by circumstances. From a wife who, amidst her grief at the news of her husband's death, nurtured hopes of freedom, to a man who thought about what to do with the letters his wife wrote to another man

The stories reflecting human conditions, from the feelings of a woman who suddenly has to take care of children she doesn't know how to be a mother to, to the lovers who restrain themselves even though they are about to pursue their passions, offer successful descriptions of the differences and connections between people of all classes and origins.
