Sia Kitap A Road Untraveled

Product description

"Tuğrul Tanyol is one of the rare poets who sees poetry as a way of existence.

In his poetry, while the integration of structure and content is shaped through imagery, you can also feel the uninterrupted heartbeat of life.

A close reader knows that the poet works by interweaving life and image.

Nevertheless, it must be emphasized that Tanyol shows the ability to distinguish between everyday language and the language of poetry.

He understands that poetry is an autonomous field, and by separating the language of poetry from ordinary language, he opens a space for poetry based on modern aesthetics.

On the other hand, Tanyol is a poet whose attitude towards poetry does not change from his first book to his last poems, but who renews and develops himself.

The reader is confronted with a poem with rich and powerful connotations, a poem that cannot be read once, but must be read again and again.

It is not enough to read the lines, one must also read between the lines.

Tuğrul Tanyol's poetry is a pioneering poetry, a poetry that feeds the reader's imagination. The imaginative depth of this poetry is the result of the poet's view of the world and the word.

The reader witnesses not only the pages where the world turns into words, but also how words create new worlds.

The poetry that can capture this is already deeply engraved in the marble of time.
