summary: “during the process we call history, humans have been trying to understand life by learning, accumulating, and thinking about it since ancient times.

”Troy is one of the oldest and most shocking scenes of this quest.More than just the story of a war, the trojan horse narrative unveils the ancient relationship built on human hubris, passion, the tendency to forget, and, of course, violence.

In this book, suat dülger considers troy not only as a mythological event, but also as a field of thought that opens the understanding of human nature.

because “man is an entity that examines, understands, acts and washes” and troy is the clearest scene of this contradiction.

“ar the same human being both seek virtue and produce destruction."akhilleus' anger, hector's pride, paris' choice, and odysseus' never-ending journey

they tell not only of heroism but also of human limitations."Just as there is no winner in war, there is no innocence in forgetting: "sometimes people forget what they have done, and sometimes what they have destroyed."

”By combining the imagination of the myth, the narrative power of the epic, and the questioning gaze of philosophy, troya leaves the reader with this question: “what is a human being?”When we look at troy, we are actually looking at ourselves.
