Product description

What is admirable is that, while they admit that for everything else they need a teacher and learning, they study with diligence but the only thing they never learn and do not want to grasp is the science of life itself.

“i learned to work with discipline from this book.

” —cemil meriç “monsieur girard recommended a book to us and said we should definitely read it.

it was the book of jules payot, rector of the university of aix-marseille, called 'training of the will'.

the next day, i landed in the city and bought the book, sat down under an old oak tree and started to read 'training for will'. As i read, i started to feel an indescribable pain mixed with sadness and regret for not having read it until that moment.

he says to myself, oh, this book should have been in my hands when i was eighteen-twenty, and i was sorry for the delay.
