ALCOHOL IS USED IN THE POLYESTER STRUCTURE, IS IT SUITABLE TO MAKE A PRAYERY FROM THIS?
Answer from RAVZA HOME
The "alcohol" used in the production process of polyester yarn is a chemical component and not the intoxicating alcohol you'd find in beverages. When the product is complete, these substances are attached to the thread structure, they are not volatile, and there is no liquid residue that comes into contact during prayer. Therefore, the use of polyester prayer rugs is considered permissible in religion. You can use it with peace of mind. • The intoxicating alcohol (hamr) is based on the Fiqha • Alcohol used in chemical production: • It cannot be drunk • It does not intoxicate • It does not remain independent in the product • The use of polyester prayer rugs is common and acceptable in Turkey and the Islamic world.
