Profil Kitap The Origin of True and False Knowledge Philosophy Book

Product description

Ethical, throughout the ages, only &quot

Good behavior &quot

...has not only been a measure, but also at the heart of the human mind's quest for self-understanding. In this classic text, first published in german in 1889, franz brentano re-examines the conceptual foundations of how knowledge of right and wrong can be possible, directly attributing the origin of morality to the structure of the human mind. According to him, morality is not the product of habits, social acceptances, or external authorities

it is based on the inclination, judgments, and desire structure of the human mind. The origin of true and false knowledge bridges a previously unexplored gap between logic, psychology, and ethics – the three major areas of philosophy.

while questioning conventional thoughts, it aims to demonstrate that ethical knowledge cannot be explained solely with tradition, custom or expectation. Brentano's method is an effort that opens the doors of modern thought history, deeply examining the relationship between mind and value.

what does it mean to know the truth? An action &quot

Good &quot

What is the making of? Can morality really have a universal foundation? Brentano's analysis is an indispensable starting point for those who wish to rethink the source of morality. Brentano, representing a significant turning point in the history of philosophy, offers a living and open-to-discussion text for the reader who dares to think about modern ethical concepts today.
