Profil Kitap Abdülhamid'in Rüyası Ertuğrul & Osmanlı Fırkateyni Ertuğrul'un Talihsiz Diplomatik Japonya Seferi

Product description

Abdülhamid's dream ertuğrul, who set off from constantinople in 1889 and reached yokohama in 1890, is as glorious as the five hundred ottoman sailors, and his luck is the subject of an expedition on a black steamer.

The task of these five hundred marines was to serve as the good-will envoy of the ottoman empire in the ports they docked at along their route, and to sit at the table to make diplomatic agreements with the japanese emperor upon their arrival in japan, which was their final destination.

Although the firkateyn arrived safely at its destination, in the autumn of 1890, on the way back to constantinople, a typhoon took place.

It was in this way that the worst naval disaster of the nineteenth century took place.

Furthermore, a cultural connection that has not been found anywhere else began as a result of this disaster, between the survivors of the ottoman navy and the japanese villagers who greeted them on the coast of japan after the accident.

Abdülhamid's dream ertuğrul, which carries features of a romance of tension in part, a saga in part, and a historical novel in part, invites readers to a sea journey, which is told from the perspective of people who lived the events that took place in this glorious period of the nineteenth century.
