May 19 &quot

Falih rifki atay has a gripping, rich content, and a style that defends his theses based on contrasting appearances and events. "prof. Dr. i̇lber ortaylı: "the memoirs would consist of three parts: those related to the world war, those related to their activities in istanbul during the armistice, and finally, those related to the period of the national forces!" The first article was published on march 13, 1926.

This 32-part series narrates mustafa kemal's critiques of war policy, his interactions with both turkish and german commanders, his journey to the general headquarters in kayseri with vahdettin, and his telegrams from adana with grand vizier i̇zzet paşa regarding the armistice terms. Given the numerous names mentioned in the memoirs, including those of foreign heads of state, it was inevitable that these writings would resonate both internally and externally. At the government's request, mustafa kemal cut his memoirs short at the end of the first part. But we had completed our notes about the events that happened until we went to samsun.
