about:it is the aircraft produced by general dynamics company under the lwf (lightweight fighter, that is, low weight fighter aircraft project) project, which was started at the end of the 1960s and won the lwf project. Today, the air forces of 29 countries around the world use various models of the f-16 fighter aircraft.
[6] nowadays, although not for the us air force, versions developed for export are produced. In 1993, general dynamics sold its aircraft production rights to lockheed, which later merged with martin marietta to take the name lockheed martin.
The f-16 has undergone numerous renovations for its aerodynamic design, the canopy has been made in the shape of a water drop for a better view, the control lever has been moved to the right for ease of the pilot during high g force turns, and the pilot's seat has been tilted backwards to reduce the g force acting on the pilot.
its weapons consist of a m61 vulcan cannon inside the hull and various missiles that can be installed on eleven loading points.
it is also the first fighter that can withstand 9g.
it can climb strongly, provided that the thrust-to-weight ratio is not higher than 1, and can also accelerate upright when necessary. Although the official name of the f-16 is the fighting falcon, pilots refer to it as the viper. This disassembled model, produced by pm model company with superior craftsmanship and first-class material quality, continues to be the number one choice of modelers and collectors.
