Parodi Yayınları Mutlu Prens / Parodi Yayınları / Oscar Wilde

Product description

The happy prince, who did not know what crying was, would never see the misery behind the walls of his palace. When they erected his statue on a hill

at that moment, his real life shed tears in his eyes.

whereas everyone admired him, nor did he have a glorious appearance-the hilt of his sword was ruby, his eyes were sapphire, and his body was solid gold.

but the poverty of the people, who saw the statue from that view, made him miserable.

when he witnessed the pain suffered by people, his heart ached, only a good-hearted swallow placed on his slope could understand him. Oscar wilde explores themes that are part of our daily lives, such as altruism, loyalty, modesty, selfishness, and arrogance, in his stories.

in every work he wrote, he aims to bring art closer to aesthetics. The emphasis is always on the poetic language of fairy tales and the surreal magic of allegory. "summarizing the vast history of humanity in just one sentence that everyone knows: ""we are all in a flowing quicksand, but some of us are looking at the stars."
