Since the middle of the twentieth century, john cage has been the most influential person in determining the directions that modern arts, especially music, have followed. This book, published in 2012, the year of the celebration of the hundredth birthday, includes cage's fifteen selected writings from his life, which were translated into turkish for the first time, along with an extensive introduction.Cage is a hundred years old.His life-filled presence is still clearly visible, still provoking to think, still compelling to argue, still emitting magnificent mischief around. The most frequently cited, the most famous and/or barrel-twentieth-century composer may have left stravinsky behind. Its influence reached far beyond classical music to contemporary art and popular culture.Cage used the sound of the world in his music, and the sound of the world became cage's music.-alex ross-, the new yorker john cage started a revolution by suggesting that composers should throw away the musical language accumulated for seven centuries and free themselves from weight, and as a result, he opened the door to minimalism, performance art, and almost every branch of innovative music. This product Netart mediaListed with integration packages.
