Jandl, without losing his childlike enthusiasm and curiosity, and without compromising his brutal realism, always searched for and found new forms with his endless curiosity and researcher spirit.

Under the influence of concrete poetry and dada, the poet managed to develop a distinctive poetic language, changing his poetry from top to bottom every period with new directions such as visual, dialectic, auditory poetry

At times, he created a degraded, brand-new language from the german of the migrant worker, sometimes he took concrete poetry out of its usual form and used it as a means of describing reality (for example, national socialism).

in his poems, which started from the language of everyday life and returned to it, he influenced not only literature but also the german language, giving it new possibilities of expression. Jandl not only wrote poems, but also recited them in a way that would not detract from their poetic qualities, and sometimes combined them with jazz music, taking his art to new areas. The selection in your hand brings together twenty-five poems, each of which is a main stop of jandlin's poetry journey.

we hope you will love its large-scale creation, which can easily accommodate several poet careers.
