raffia yarn is the most preferred type of yarn for knitting bags and making hats. thanks to its sturdy and upright structure, raffia yarn can be knitted to create the desired look. when knitting with raffia yarn, a size 3 or 3.5 crochet hook is recommended. the size of the crochet hook should be chosen according to the tightness of your hand when knitting raffia yarn. the amount of raffia yarn used can vary depending on the size of the bag. it's advisable to buy extra raffia yarn, considering the possibility of running out. if a raffia yarn bag or paper yarn hat is left unfinished, it can sometimes be difficult to find the same shade of yarn to continue. this is because there are many closely related shades of raffia yarn. please check out our store for different needs, models, and designs.
