Unfortunately, the product is not suitable for this process.

Dear customer, our portable door lock models are produced in our factory from 304 quality stainless steel by undergoing laser cutting, stainless welding, bending and polishing processes. We have seen that products abroad are carelessly manufactured from aluminum or coated normal iron. As a team, we have made improvements on these products. We offer you the fit to the door, the tightness and the lifetime usage of stainless steel.

Dear customer, if the toilet door has a gap larger than 1.5mm from the inside when it closes, it works. It's hard to give a clear answer because we don't see the door. There is another type of lock sold online in blue, which is only produced for toilet doors. If you see it and ask this question, our answer is yes, it performs the function that lock does exactly.
