In general, it is not a suitable oil for use in the kitchen or for oral consumption. It should not be used except under doctor's advice and for short periods determined by the doctor. It is very suitable for diluting any essential oil and applying topically. You can use a few drops of baobab oil directly for hair care. It can be used daily as a moisturizer, either alone or with other oils, or with suitable cosmetic products. You can apply a small amount of baobab oil directly to acne-prone, tight, or damaged skin daily. For topical applications, it is more suitable to use it in the morning to take full advantage of the oil's properties and increase its effectiveness.
