Onbir Yayınları Mısır’ın Ölüler Kitabı

Product description

In many ways, the book of the dead is a faithful expression of the ancient egyptians' belief.

the book also consists of parts and parts that do not have the same exit.

although most of them are definitely from heliopolis, there are also pieces that belong to abydos.

in the entire work, as in egyptian religion, there is neither a strict system nor a precisely defined order.

it presents a portrayal of all phases of the life of the deceased before himself, but no definite plan has been set out for him that he cannot refuse.

in some parts, the doctrine is fully pantheistic, that is, it teaches the state of absorption of everything by the entity that permeates everything, and this identification with the entity constitutes the ideal that the deceased desires to achieve.

this diversity in the ideas included in the book of the dead constitutes one of the special interests of the book, in addition, this book contains almost the only element of religion that has spread throughout the country, as well as numerous local cults established on the banks of the nile.

A book of the dead located in memphis is identical to that located in thebes

Ptah and amen are not in the text except for the titles of the dead person who may have been in the service of one of these gods, but still the gods of these two great cities and the worship of them are in no way the same.
