Oltu stone is light because it is a tree fossil stone like drop amber.

It is a semi-precious stone like drop amber, mined in the Oltu district of Erzurum in our country.

Therefore, it is also called "Black Amber".

Oltu Stone, which is also mined in different places outside our country, although not so much, is called "Jet Stone" in English, which means "Jet Black Stone".

It is used in various jewelry and accessories due to its easy processing feature.

Rosary is one of the most prominent of these accessories.

The reputation of rosaries made of Oltu stone is widespread not only in Turkey but all over the world.

In alternative medicine, it is believed that Oltu stone, which is believed to remove negative electricity in the body, reduces stress and is considered to be good against the evil eye
