Isbn: 9786052036303 Author: naim kandemir Publisher: nota bene publications Language: turkish Volume: paperback Summary: in his book, "with a child's innocence," naim kandemir recounts excerpts from his life journey, beginning in samsun and extending to the metropolis, and then branching out to the country's social struggle. he emerges before the reader with a narrative built around the idea of remaining a child by resisting "growing up" and fighting for that. When you read the book, you understand that the main struggle is not political / social, but a childhood struggle

that is, the struggle to protect the childhood world by not getting involved in extraction, power, and exploitation. Even those who lose this struggle and lose their childhood, no matter how “revolutionary”, “heroic” and “important” people they are, are not actually owners, they live everything they are against in their own personal lives and finally equate them. . . Naim kandemir, in his stories that flow from life itself and about experiences, talks about another life

Built on labor, a life that has become the struggle itself, which envisages fighting with itself and changing itself first, which considers ignorance to be enlargement, pollution to be growth, and being a person from people to be beauty. . . Childhood is a person's home country. And all the struggles should be given primarily to win this homeland. Naim kandemir invites us to start over, to embrace the innocence of childhood. These are the stories that truly resonate with people who love life, who, despite everything, never lose hope, who remain loyal to life, who haven't lost the joy of living, and who haven't extinguished the sense of goodness and hope in their hearts. The author calls on us to start over in this dirty world with the purity of a child, to build the lives of clean, humane, noble, honest people and to clear the way to such a society. This call becomes the manifesto of the result that emerges from all the stories. These stories not only reveal the psychopathology of everyday life, but also narrate the entire daily life, including this pathology, filtered through the sieve of a revolutionary mind.
