Product Q&As
Hello. Is this product suitable for large lettuce? Should I also buy a giant size set of 2 for parsley and dill? I wasn't sure about the dimensions.
Answer from Mumowrap
Hello, if you buy a set of 2 waxed pouches, one large size pouch (suitable for large marula) and one medium size pouch (suitable for basil and dill) will be practical. Our 2-piece square dev set product can also be used for greens, vegetables and breads, but it is not in the form of a pouch, it is in the form of a waxed fabric.

I couldn't find pumpkin fiber. How do we wash it? Do I need to wash it before first use?
Answer from Mumowrap
Hello, you should gently wash it with cold water and preferably an ecological detergent, without scrubbing or turning the bag inside out. We recommend washing before first use. You don't necessarily need to use a loofah for washing, but you should choose a cleaning product that won't damage your waxed pouch. If you want to use zucchini fiber, it is available in our store.

Hello, how often should the product be washed? And how should it be washed?
Answer from Mumowrap
Hello, we kindly ask you to wash gently with cold water, (preferably ecological) detergent and (preferably) pumpkin fiber, and not to scrub. You can dry the wet Mumo by hanging or laying it out. Remember to avoid all heat sources, including hot water, microwaves, ovens, hot cars, and containers that seal in unequally cooled leftovers, as the wax inside may melt. If there are residues from the food you have stored in terms of frequency, if you can clean it by running it through water, do not use detergent, otherwise you can wash it in accordance with the suggestions above.

Product details
Product description
Mumos are made of organic certified cotton fabric, beeswax, tree resin, coconut oil. Pouches with completely natural content are produced as an alternative to disposable plastics such as refrigerator bags and cling films. This package contains 1 large size (30x45 cm) waxed pouch. After putting the food you want to keep fresh for a long time inside, you can close the lid and seal the fabric with the heat of your hand.
it can be washed and reused 100 times. We recommend that the washing process be carried out with cold water, (preferably) ecological detergent and (again preferably) loofah. It is flammable, it is not recommended to leave it in hot environments or wrap it around hot products due to the melting of the solution in its content. You can use the large size bag, especially for storing products like legumes, large size greens, bread.
we do not recommend it for storing meat.
mumo's are the natural alternative to the plastics of one-time use. We recommend using mumo instead of disposable plastic products for a sustainable life in the name of protecting nature.
