- Secure the stencil to the surface you want to paint with paper masking tape or a spray of temporary stencil adhesive.
- Pick up a small amount of paint with a sponge roller, pompom brush or stencil brush
- Wipe off excess paint on a paper towel to drain (the brush is almost dry to prevent overflow of the pattern).
- Fill in the pattern with a buffering (tapping) motion.
- Carefully remove the stencil before the paint dries. rinse immediately with lukewarm water and allow to dry.
