Product description

“i am princess harueme, the fujivara no enyu, and now the daughter of the emperor, which we call go-sanjo.

more importantly, i'm old and dying. "thus begins the story of princess harueme, who spent most of her life in the imperial palace, in a tiny world behind closed doors and screens." This old woman, who could not direct her own destiny, decides to write a story with the longing to freely direct someone else's destiny, even if it's a fiction. Then why am i telling kagaya-hime's story? Moreover, why am i trying to understand my own life, when i don't even know which events are exactly as i wrote, and which were changed by wishes or regrets? Because all we have are stories and memories.

the things i used to have, the people i loved in the past - they are just traces of ink on notebooks that my mind kept in trunks and took out when bored or lonely. Recording things makes them real - in our memory, if nowhere else. My fudoki is exactly the same length as my life.

without my fudoki, i'm nothing, because he and i are the same thing.
