Product description

This book examines the interpretations of a total of eleven thinkers who interpreted the relationship between capitalism and democracy as a contrast within a wide time frame extending from the writings of marx in the nineteenth century to the present day in the twentieth century. Each chapter focuses on one thinker. In other words, readers will find a different frame, a different interpretation of the contrast between capitalism and democracy in each chapter of the book. In sonsöz, we embark on a journey through the current global economic landscape, exploring the relationship between capitalism and democracy. Our main objective in compiling this book is to present an analysis of the prevailing global ideology that equates capitalism and democracy in their most extreme forms. Therefore, we hope that the book, while providing an overview of how capitalism and democracy are related historically and conceptually, also contributes to efforts to show that there are two social realities that exclude each other, despite their apparent similarities.
