As a size S person, I bought M, the shorts are very comfortable and they were exactly what I wanted. It's a little loose on the top, but it's still very comfortable.

I intentionally give 5 stars because it is visible on top. I did not like the fabric at all. It is completely polyester and not suitable for summer.
