MAXGO 3120 USB Type C to HDMI Vga 3.1 Converter Converter Cable Adapter

Let's bring some technical clarity to this question: The MAXGO MU-3120 USB Type-C to HDMI/VGA converter is designed to output video from devices with a Type-C port, such as tablets, phones, and laptops. So the point of this adapter is to transfer the screen of a tablet to a monitor or television via HDMI or VGA. Critical point: Mini HDMI input is not on this adapter. The description of the product says it has “HDMI and VGA output”, that is, these ends are output, not input. A use case like transferring the image from a satellite receiver to a tablet is not possible with this adapter. Recommendation for correct orientation: • If the goal is to take the image from the satellite receiver to the tablet, then the tablet must support the video input (while most tablets support only output). Alternatively, you might need to transfer the satellite receiver's image to a computer or a device that supports the appropriate software via a capture card.

Yes it can be taken

If your tablet's Type-C port supports DisplayPort Alt Mode, you can use this adapter to project your screen onto a projector. If there is no support, there will be no image output.”

It is not possible to use this device in this way, sir.

What Does the MG-3120 USB-C to HDMI Adapter Do? • This adapter allows you to output HDMI display from a device with a USB-C output. • It is commonly used to transfer images from devices with USB-C ports, such as phones, tablets, or computers, to a television, monitor, or projector. • But it is one way only: USB-C to HDMI. So it can't take HDMI signal and output to phone. Is it Possible to Get Image from Camera Recorder to Phone? • If the camera recorder has an HDMI output, it requires an HDMI input-supporting device to output this image directly to the phone. • Most Phones don't support HDMI input. Even if there is a USB-C port, it usually outputs video with DisplayPort Alt Mode, not receiving input. • You can consider the following alternatives to capture images: • Video capture card (working via USB): It can transfer the image from the HDMI output to the computer or some Android phones via USB. • Access via IP camera or network: If the recorder is networked, images can be viewed via a phone app. • OTG-enabled video capture adapters: Some Android phones can recognize USB-to-HDMI capture devices if they support OTG. ✅ Result: The MG-3120 adapter is not suitable for receiving images from a camera recorder to a phone, as this adapter only outputs HDMI video from a USB-C port. To get a picture on the phone, a different solution is needed-a video capture device or a network connection, for example.

MAXGO MG-3120 USB Type-C to HDMI + VGA converter usually does not output two different displays at the same time. HDMI and VGA ports often give the same image (mirror/duplicate). So: • If you connect two monitors, most likely they will display a duplicate of the main screen. • To be controlled separately (extend mode), the converter must support DisplayLink or MST (Multi-Stream Transport). This model doesn't seem to have that support. 🔍 What Can Be Done? • If the laptop has its own HDMI or other output, it is possible to use the real dual display (extend) by connecting one with converter and the other directly. • Alternatively, independent displays can be achieved with DisplayLink supported USB graphics adapters.

Of course, your phone must have image transfer feature.

It can't be used that way

Hello, if there is sound in the image you are transmitting, it should normally transmit it. The device you are using may not support it.

your computer has to be MHL capable

Unfortunately, it cannot be used that way, sir.

It will be suitable if there is sound in the broadcast you are watching.
