Product Q&As
Sir, I will use it for my hair and skin.
Answer from Masala
Hello, you can directly use our product alone for hair and skin care, no need to dilute. Castor oil is naturally thick; if it seems too thick for your liking, you can dilute it by mixing it with a more fluid carrier oil, such as sweet almond oil, jojoba oil, or grapeseed oil.

Hello friends, is this oil alone or do I need to dilute it with another oil component?
Answer from Masala
Hello, our product is 100% pure cold pressed castor oil. It can be used directly on its own, and doesn't necessarily need to be mixed with another oil. Castor oil is naturally quite thick and viscous. For easier application, you can also mix it with more fluid carrier oils like sweet almond, jojoba, or grapeseed oil. You can choose according to your intended use.

Is the bottle of 500 ml castor oil glass?
Answer from Masala
Hello, the packaging of our 500 ml Castor Oil is a plastic bottle, not glass. The product is shipped sealed with a lock lid, and a pump head that provides ease of use is also sent as a gift.

They weighed the bottle in the comments. It is 500ml with the bottle. How many ml is the weight of the oil itself?
Answer from Masala
Hello, our product contains 500 ml net volume of castor oil. Milliliters (ml) are a unit of volume while grams (g) are a unit of weight, so 500 ml is not the same as 500 grams. The empty 500ml bottle we use weighs approximately 35 grams, while the 500ml bottle of castor oil weighs about 460 grams. Therefore, when the product is weighed together with the bottle, it is normal to see a weight close to the sum of these values, including the weight of the lid. The filling of our products is made on the basis of a net volume of 500 ml, not on the gram. Therefore, it would not be right to weigh the bottle and expect the oil inside to be 500 grams.
