white maple although maple is a very light wood material, it is surprisingly strong and dense.

maple doesn't add much extra weight, making it ideal for any drummer who wants to use large drumsticks. White hickory is the most preferred material for baguette production all over the world, coming from the walnut trees of the south of the usa. This wood is an ideal material for rock, pop, and other mid-to-high-end sound applications. Red hickory is sourced from the heartwood of the hickory tree, making it not only darker in color but also significantly denser. Baguettes made from red walnut wood are much stronger and more durable. Los cabos is the first company to use red walnut wood in baguette production.
