summary: when odo is born, he learns to smell the stars because dogs belong to the stars. His mother teaches this to odo and his siblings first when he is a puppy. Sirius, starting from the great dog star, begins to look at the stars. Then odo leaves his family with a cardboard box and embarks on a new journey.

he finds himself in a human family's home, knows people as his own family. But things won't go as planned, odo will soon find himself alone on the beach and will try to reach the human family through various adventures. The story, told from the perspective of a lost puppy, questions the concepts of home, belonging, and friendship, while also taking a very close look at the lives of stray animals.

odo is looking at the stars trying to find his way, sniffing the earth. Together with odo, the reader embarks on a journey that is both adventurous and evokes a range of emotions.

Each chapter unfolds under the guidance of a star: from sirius's wisdom to bellatrix's courage, deneb's hope to vega's love... odo's story bridges the gap between the heavens and the earth. It conveys empathy, loyalty, and harmony with nature to children in an elegant way.
