summary:Some people are unable to emotionally mature, so they cannot show the maturity of an adult in their behavior, speech, and relationships. However, since we see them as physically grown, “adults”, we have mature human behavior expectations from them.

we get frustrated and often find it hard to accept them for who they are and get angry.

And maybe we're one of those grown-up kids who acts like it and doesn't realize it.

The fact that adults and children grow up to be "pretend adults" is largely due to their upbringing in families that don't meet their psychological needs. and if this isn't recognized, this story gets passed down from generation to generation.

The heroes of the book of real freedom, timur and mr. yakup, this time, the texture of relationships in the lives of people who look adult but are not yet mature, “remained children” show us our faulty behavior and tell us about the events we encounter in daily life about family environment and child-rearing, allowing us to see ourselves more closely and to know ourselves.

In this book

“who is an adult child? How and in what environment do adults grow up?What are the expectations you should have from others and yourself when starting a family?”, “what happens to the child if his needs are not met?”, “why are we always on the thorns in the family? You will learn the answers to the questions with doğan cüceloğlu's unique perspective.

This book is a mirror… as you turn its pages, you will better understand your childhood, your family, the people around you, and most importantly, yourself.
